Well I said I'd find away to do next to nothing and I did. Got some housey worky stuff done, as well as some other bits and bobs, but not anything really worth mentioning. Oh, wait...
I had another flick through Allan Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. According to everyone who's ever used it, it's supposed to be the greatest book of that particular genre. Be that as it may, I really can't get past Allan Carr's obsession with CAPTIALIZING every OTHER word. It's one of my pet hates when it comes reading, I really don't like being shouted at, not to mention the fact it reminds me of Frank Miller. Heh. FRANK MILLER'S GODDAMN EASY WAY TO STOP GODDAMN SMOKING. You never know, it could happen.
I've been a pretty heavy smoker for the last twelve years and at this point I really want to give up. The really sad thing is, my reason for doing it isn't health related at all, it's more down to the financial aspect of it all. I simply can't afford to anymore, when you're deciding between a weeks worth of groceries, a few nights out or a weeks worth of groceries and a weeks worth of cigarettes, then Huston you have a problem. Yep it's pathetic.
Anyway I'm thinking I might try a helpline next - don't laugh - see if they have any suggestions, other than patches - I can just see myself getting addicted to them instead for some reason. It'd just be like the thing.
In other news, I did a bit of work on several of my fics today. One's not going anywhere, the other is going to get edited to hell, a mini got posted, and I made as start on a couple of others. Whether or not the new ones see the light of day is another matter entirely.
And on a completely unrelated note, I've decided that in addition to wanting a Adipose soft toy for christmas, I also want a Crazy!Caan toy. How geeky of me.

You can't get away from the health warnings. It's just that most of us are to addicted to care, or think that it probably won't happen to them until they hit middle age. The health aspect does come into my wanting to stop. It's just not the main one. Not by a long shot.
Also, I want Crazy Caan to get his own spin off.

They should do an animated mini-series with Crazy Caan like they did with Infinite Quest. That would rock if they did.

And I'd love to see that with Crazy Caan, if not, then have him as the new companion.

Crazy Caan and Doctor together in the TARDIS. That in itself would be absolute hilarity right there.
And oooh, hail storm outside! Well, that didn't last for very long, but the lightning and thundering outside certainly hasn't stopped. The one I hate about summers here in Florida and to think people wait for this time of the year to come here. -coughs-

Crazy Caan and The Doctor in The TARDIS should be next years comic relief clip. Maybe Lauren can somehow put in an appearance.
It's just grey in these parts. I think our short summer is over. :(

A comic relief strip would definitely be nice. Wouldn't it be something if they made a cameo appearance in another comic? I know that Rose and Ten made a cameo in one of the Buffy comics.

Really, I didn't know they actually showed up in a Buffy comic. But then I've always stayed away from the comics. I like to think Buffy stayed dead in season five, it avoids thinking about the horror of season six and seven. :)

And yeah Ten and Rose appeared in a Buffy comic. The Doctor looks especially cute with dots for eyes, lol. The only thing good about Buffy post season 5 was evil Willow, but beyond that, the show stopped getting interested. :(
Oooh and it got dark outside really quickly and it's only 18:03 down here. :o

That is some horrible art there. He does look cute though.
Really? Another thunderstorm?
