TDK is now a week away for us poor swines over in the UK, so I'll be avoiding all TDK chat, spoiler and non-spoiler alike. I really don't want to ruin it for myself by get my hopes up or getting my hopes dashed like the last time. I'm expecting to see a bloody great superhero film, nothing more, nothing less. I'm not expecting to see the next Citizen Kane - or god forbid, Daredevil, just a great popcorn flick.
In related news, Gotham Knight was delivered today, much to my surprise and delight. I wasn't expecting it to come this early, I really thought I'd be receiving it sometime next week since Play.com can be a bit rubbish about sending things out. But since that wasn't the case this time round, I can happily report that Gotham Knight will be kicking off my Bat-Geek Week. Yay!
I've got the Burton films, seasons one and two of B:TAS (you can't get three and four over here for some reason), the 1966 film - I'll hear nothing against it, and most importantly: Batman Begins to tide me over until next Monday. If things get really desperate, I can also order the Schumacher films from my cable supplier. But strangely enough, I don't think that's going to be a problem somehow.
The countdown begins! Huzzah!
Okay, I'm going get some dinner now.

Haha, I'm sure it's very appreciated. I wonder just how well Maggie G will fare this time round.
Yes, crying. In my short time in fandom I've just realised how empathetic I have to be with the fans, otherwise I would run screaming in a heartbeat :D Too intense!
He'll be a very good Joker, but I don't think he'll be THE Joker. But I'm wiling to have my mind changed on that subject.
Ah, but I am a heathen. Joker to me us always the DCAU Joker, voiced by Mark Hammill :D
