What shows did you acquire in 2008?
The Wire, How I Met Your Mother, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Being Human, Dr Horrible, Lark Rise to Candleford, Dead Set. There's others I'm sure I'm forgetting about.
What shows did you let go of in 2008?
Heroes. It was never a favourite of mine, and at best I was a casual viewer after the first series, but it's not even entertaining in a car crash kind of way anymore.
What shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2008?
Echo Beach/Moving Wallpaper and Ashes to Ashes. And truth be told, I'm glad I didn't.
What shows do you intend on checking out in 2009?
Being Human, but to be honest I don't think it really needs a series. I thought the pilot stood on its own well enough. I'm not expecting much.
The rumoured sequel to Dr Horrible - I hope this happens. Cracktastic goodness. Yay.
Law and Order: London - Out of sheer curiosity and nothing else.
Dollhouse - I'll check it out, but again, I'm really not expecting much.
I'm sure there's loads more that hasn't been announced yet.
What shows do you think you might let go of in 2009 unless things significantly improve?
Dr Who - I'm really bored with the last timelord angsty storyline that's been around since the re-launch.
Sarah Conner Chronicles - I don't dislike it, there's just not a lot to it either.
Demons - Good grief. I think I might have dropped it already.
What shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get?
CSI Miami - Comedy gold!!! It couldn't get any worse than it already is, it's my guilty pleasure. :)
What shows impressed you most in 2008?
The Wire - Easily the greatest television series of all time. It blew me away.
Dr Horrible - I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as good as it was, despite the typical Joss ending.
Dead Set - Great cast, managed to be scary, funny, and dramatic at the same time. Davina McCall getting her throat ripped out was tv gold. Charlie Brooker cannot write bad television.
