It's been a nothing weekend. I've spent most of it on the phone, watching DVDs courtesy of lovefilm.com, re-reading old novels, and pissing about on my computer. I've done it again, folks. I haven't updated my CV, or had a clear out, or done any of the thousands of more important things I swore I'd do this weekend. It's becoming a habit or maybe it already is one, and I'm in denial. Yeah, that's probably it.
Anyway, for a weekend in which nothing of importance was achived, I did get quite a bit done, in terms of irrelevance at least. I've got ten fics on the go and lots of plot bunnies as well. I'm pretty pleased with my denial prompt fic. It's over two thousand words now, and after three drafts, I think it might be actually going somewhere. Well hopefully it's going somewhere and not just in my imagination either. I've also made a start on my Bruce Wayne Death Fic Table which is going okay, but not as well as I'd hoped it would. I might stop and try again next week if I find the time.
I was also delighted to discover that Twin Peaks hasn't aged that much. It's still as fresh today as it was back then. It's always slightly depressing to re-visit an old television series that you once loved, only to wonder what the hell you were thinking the first time round when you professed your undying love for it. Happily that wasn't the case here. But then it is David Lynch we're talking about here.
Eh. That's all for now.
